Each year in June a group of folks travel to Nicaragua to work with orphans at Casa Mephibosheth, an orphanage owned and operated by Chosen Children Ministries.  They work on upkeep of the housing and teach and play games with the children. 

The team also ministers to the physical and spiritual needs of the folks in nearby villages. This year the team was able to supply food to 380 families in the village of Los Torres.  Another village received 20 food bags. The team also distributed about 400 New Testaments.  Unfortunately, there are over 700 families in this one village, so many of the families went away without a food bag.  It is the goal of the mission team and Heritage Chapel to supply a larger number of bags each year. 

You can be a part of this ministry by making a tax deductible contribution toward this goal.  Ten dollars will buy a bag of food for a family.  Why not plan now to set aside $10 each month for a food bag?  If just 70 people would do this, there would be food for every family.  As a church, we have committed to provide for 200 families.  What will God have you to do?
